This was my very first car as a teenager.  It never made it out on the road due to a crushed right front fender.  However, sitting in it definitely added to the cool points.

I thought all of you might enjoy a copy of the family crest. And in case any of you are about to go search the phrase “Nihilo nisi cruce”, it translates to “with nothing but the cross”. I have found the details about the crest and translation at numerous locations during my research. I believe them to be accurate. If anybody as information to the contrary give me a call to compare information. Enjoy!

I came across this 1920 census bureau document while doing research into the family history and it made me wonder about life without computers. And then I started thinking about the people that decided, all those years ago, that keeping records like this was important. I am wondering how archaic our system will seem to some guy up late at night, researching his genealogy in the year 3000.

I was given this picture by my mom some time ago.  It was in pretty bad shape to begin with and can still use some photoshop touch up (working on it).  The picture I am guessing is of a mid 1800 generation.  My great grandfather is the young man in the back row – Steven.  There are a couple names missing, so if anybody knows who they all are please let me know.
